Home isn't home without you.
The week we spent together quickly flew.
I forgot what it meant to live alone.
Only to feel it with gusto once you were gone.
For a fleeting moment, it felt like my childhood days.
If only, a little longer you could stay.
The week felt both long and short.
But the time spent with you was never for naught.
How I wish I could turn back time.
To relive that week again would be sublime.
I will miss you when you're not here.
But such is life, while I await my dear.\
